NFL Team Reveals Schedule With Halo After Using Minecraft Last Year

It’s another year, and that means another hilarious NFL release schedule video from the Los Angeles Chargers based on a video game. This time, the football organization utilized Halo Infinite to reveal its 18-week schedule that begins this September and runs through January 2027.

The social media team with the Chargers worked with Xbox to make the video–seen below–in Halo Infinite’s Forge mode. In fact, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma responded on X with three lightning bolt emojis to the Chargers post, showcasing her support of the creative reveal. Each weekly matchup is teased on the Mission Select screen to start, with opponents getting fresh maps in Halo. There’s a cool custom boat created, for example, to preview the team’s matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 13.

This is the second year in a row that the Chargers have utilized an Xbox property for the schedule unveiling, as the team used Minecraft last year. In 2024, The Sims 2 was the medium, demonstrating that the Chargers have a varied taste in gaming.
