2026 is an unprecedented year in Magic: The Gathering’s history, with a record seven mainline sets dropping before year’s end. After Secrets of Strixhaven launches in late April, Marvel Super Heroes is this summer’s next big Universes Beyond crossover set after Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You can preorder each item from Amazon and Best Buy before the set comes out in full on June 26. And like all other mainline Magic sets, Marvel Super Heroes includes plenty of sealed products for both new and veteran players alike to pad out their collections. Everything from booster packs, Commander decks, and Bundles are available, and this set also brings back the Jumpstart and Beginner Box products to help onboard newer spell slingers.
Marvel Super Heroes is the next Marvel-centric mainline set after last year’s Spider-Man, but will explore the much broader universe. Fans of both Magic and Marvel Comics will find something to love here, as the set promises to feature many of our favorite heroes, villains, locations, and story moments from throughout the comics‘ vast lore and history. From a card design perspective, it will be very interesting to see how many of these characters will translate to Magic mechanics, but if successful Universes Beyond releases like Final Fantasy are anything to go off of, Wizards of the Coast might have another hit on their hands.
We’ve aggregated all the available sealed products launching alongside Marvel Super Heroes below, so be sure to browse through and find the deck or box you’re interested in.

Play booster packs are the meat and potatoes of any Magic: The Gathering release. While Play booster boxes are the quickest way to build a collection, you can purchase Play booster packs individually. Each 15-card pack comes with 6 to 9 common cards, 3 to 5 uncommons, and 1 to 4 rare or Mythic Rare cards, with one card of any rarity guaranteed to be a traditional foil.

$42 | Releases June 26
Just like Play booster packs, Collector booster packs can be purchased individual, but at a significantly higher price due to the expected value from any given pack. While these also contain 15 cards, the rarity breakdown is bit different compared to Play boosters. Each one comes with the chance for 9 to 13 traditional foil cards, with 5 rare of Mythic Rare cards. There’s also the chance for your cards to sport the Borderless, Special Guest, or Serialized Headliner cards, and you have a less than 1% chance to open a Headliner Mythic card.

The free TV and movie streaming service Tubi has announced a young adult romance movie called Game On, and it will feature veteran gaming actor Nolan North (Uncharted, Assassin’s Creed).
The film follows the talented gamer Casey, played by Sky Katz, who is trying to win her high school’s first gaming tournament for the game Eon Rush. Her main competition is a boy she has a crush on named Theo (Case Walker). The twist is that Casey tries to „stay undercover and use their budding romance to study his moves and take him down from the inside.“

The report from Variety did not specify, but it seems North plans Casey’s father, a man who seeks to remind Casey „who she is beyond the headset.“ And in classic soap opera form, Casey’s „carefully calculated plan begins to unravel as fake feelings turn real,“ according to the movie’s official description.
